Is there ANYONE out there who hasn’t made this dress yet???  And if you haven’t, get thyself to the sewing machine quick and stitch this up.  Seriously, it’s very easy and oh so flattering.

This is the back view with an un-ironed hem.  All the seams are serged and the hems are just turned up and stitched (at the sleeves and bottom).  It’s just 2 pattern pieces, easy peasy.  The side seams are interesting, they begin at the underarm, and travel down and stop at a skirt dart.  The seam doesn’t go all the way to the hem.   I made the hem about 2 inches deeper, just to shorted the skirt a bit.  This is my usual size 12 with no alterations, made up in ITY jersey from Fabric.com

This pattern would make the perfect LBD.  I think some glorious silk jersey would be fabulous.  I must say, I’m stepping out of my comfort zone with this one on the “Cling Factor”.  I feel the need to pull out the Spanx  in order to wear it, but, that’s just me.

Striking! That goes for color, material, fit, – just plain eye-catching in every way.
