Oatmeal Pullover

knitting 247

Ahhh, bulky yarn, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways…… Bulky yarn makes for a super quick-finishing project.

Pattern:Oatmeal Pullover by Jane Richmond

Yarn: Madelinetosh Bulky in color Fig.  This took 5 skeins.

This is a very tight-fitting pullover, and I wanted more of a loose fit, so I made a size 44.  Also, I knitted the body several inches longer than the pattern indicates.  For the sleeves, I knitted a 2 X 2 cuff (knit 2 purl 2) for about 1 1/2 inches.  Cute, no?  Great layering piece with tights or jeans!

Not only is this dark brown hard to photograph, but my mirror is disgusting!
