Vogue 1120

I love this pattern!  This is a loose-fitting, A-line dress that has stitched pleats at the neckline, lined raglan sleeves, and side seam pockets.  The back pattern has a neck slit with a button loop closure.

The belt is long enough to wrap around the waist twice.  I had run out of fabric, so mine only goes around once and ties in the back.  I eliminated the back slit.  This dress goes over the head just fine without closures.

I made this out of a piece of charmeuse from my stash.  I thought it was silk, but no, it was nasty poly.  As you can see, EVERY seam puckered!!! Sad smile  Good thing this print is busy enough to at least camouflage the awful seams.  This is an easy pattern to make, the only time-consuming part is marking and sewing up all the pleats; on the front, back, and sleeves.  I’ll definitely make this up again!
