On me…dramatic, or what?  I still have the belt left to do:

This coat is easy enough to do, just miles and miles of stockinette stitch and rib stitch.  I love the notched collar and ribbed sleeves.  The yarn is Rowan Kid Classic and the pattern is from Rowan Magazine #42

The collar is knit as a separate piece that is picked up at the front and then stitched to the front and neck.  When I stitched the collar to the front, did it so that the seam faced to the outside and was clean finished on the inside:

The collar flaps over the seam allowance and therefore doesn’t show.  Your knit the collar up and over the shoulders and join them at the center back neck.

This yarn is so yummy, a wool/mohair blend that feels like buttah.  Can I tell you how completely ecstatic I am that I’M FINISHED?????????
