Vogue 1051, again

Vogue 1051 001
A truly lovely weekend was had here recently, and all I did was sew! Yes, sew…no yard work, no cleaning, no nothing.  I call these "Mental Health Weekends" Open-mouthed.  Anyway, I completed another pair of pants out of Vogue 1051, this time, from a dark wash stretch denim found at the clearance table at Hancocks.  I thought I would make these and see how they turned out.  I really like them!

Please excuse the blurry photos.  For these pants, I cut out my regular size 12 but I used 3/4" seams on the inner legs and side seams.  This took in 1/2" all the way around.  I probably could have taken up more, this denim stretches alot!

I used jean buttons (the kind you install with a hammer), but only 2 of them.  I also added lots of top-stitching at the waistband, crotch seam, and inseam.

Plaid facing, added from stash.

I love these trouser jeans!
