Wondering what to do with your swatches?

dolljacket (2)

Do you recognize all these bits of fabric on this doll’s jean jacket? If so, then you’ve been in a swatch club before.  These happen to be silk swatches from Thai Silks when I was in their swatching club.  Of course, I can’t throw anything away, but what to do with all these tiny squares?  I created yardage by stitching them down side by side on batiste.  I attempted to do several things with this, including making garments, purses, and doll clothes.  The only thing that really worked was this doll jacket.  I’ll make some black jeans to complete this ensemble.
