What I’m working on – Simplicity 4084

It seems like everyone is working on a trenchcoat lately, as am I.  I’m using Simplicity 4084 and here is the work in progress:
There’s one sleeve in and that’s about it.  Also, there’s a reason this was $1.98 at Denver Fabrics.  As I was ordering it, I thought "what a deal!" As I’m working on it I’m thinking "Pepto Bismol!"  It’s called "rainwear twill", and it is some of the most unfriendly stuff I’ve worked with in a while:  puckers, wrinkles, and no amount of ironing will flatten them out.  The good news is that it fits well with no pattern alteration…who knew?
